Photographic slideshows
Slideshows are a simple and cost-effective way to protect your collection of irreplaceable memories and transfer them to a digital format which you can view on SVCD (Super Video CD) or DVD. Our slideshow service places your photos into a sequence which fades from one photo to the next. The finished slideshow can be set to the music of your choice. This type of video presentation can be enjoyed again and again. It helps preserve your family's memories or other important events, and protects easily damaged photographs from the wear and tear of excessive handling.
The order of the photographs is decided by you, or you can choose to have them displayed in a random order. If your photographs are not numbered, they will be displayed in the order in which they are received for processing. (Please see the how-to section for more details, or contact us with any questions. We'd be happy to assist you). You may select any combination of digital photographs, print photographs, slides, and negatives. We'll transfer them all for you.
You choose the music that plays along, in the background, with your slideshow. The music can be provided by you, in CD-Audio format. If you have a particular song or piece of music in mind, which you would like to use, but do not own the CD, we can purchase individual songs on your behalf at a very affordable rate.
Our rates for photographic slide-shows are very reasonable, and usually come to approx $1.50 per printed photo. This cost includes the scanning process, as well as any cropping or minor color-correction which you may request. (Please inquire about discounts for projects which include greater than 100 photos). The cost per digital photo is usually $.75. You can provide us with the camera flash memory, or a recordable CD-R disc containing the photos you would like included. This cost structure includes the following:
- Minor touch-ups to each photo. This includes cropping and color-corrections. (If you have older photos, slides, or negatives that are in need of repair or retouching, we offer skilled photo restoration services at great prices. These restored photos can also be included in your slide show.)
- The music of your choice included in your final video as background music.
- One copy of your final video on DVD or SVCD disc, playable in your set-top DVD player. Your disc will be delivered in its own protective case, decorated with the title and photographic art of your choice. This photographic decoration can be selected from the photos in your slideshow, or a separate set of photos. Additional copies of your SVCD or DVD disc can also be provided for $10 per copy.
- A free digital archive of all your scanned photos on a recordable CD-R disc.

Your original photos and any other supplied material will be returned to you along with the finished slideshow, in a padded and protected mailer, and will arrive in your hands in the same condition as you sent them to us.
Animated CD-ROM and DVD-ROM menu interfaces
Are you presenting your portfolio, resume, or service proposal to your clients or potential employers on a cd-rom? Are you confident they'll know how to find the information they need, in the order in which it needs to be seen? Is it worth jeopardizing their first impression of you? Two18 Media can assist you with your digital resume and proposal mailings. Our uniquely customized menu interfaces for data cd's will reinforce the professionalism you wish to convey, and inspire confidence in the services you are offering. Our interactive navigation system for data cd-roms will automatically run the cd-rom disc once it is inserted in the computer, and present the viewer with a menu and attractive graphic design which will simplify navigation and ensure your viewer doesn't get lost trying to locate what they seek.
Navigable menu cd-roms can also contain the background music of your choice. Similar to our photo slideshow services, background music can be provided by you, in CD-Audio format. If you have a particular song or piece of music in mind which you would like to use, but do not own the CD, we can purchase individual songs on your behalf at a very affordable rate.
VHS/Analog video to digital conversion
Do you have a box of old family memories stored on VHS tape? Do you hesitate to relive those memories, because you know each time you play the tape, the quality gets a little worse? Let Two18 Media be the last to play that old analog video tape. We'll return it to you along with a new, digitally mastered SVCD or DVD-ROM disc which will resist wear and tear, doesn't need to be rewound, and can't be accidentally erased. Would you like those old silent video recordings set to music? We can insert your choice of music behind your family memories.
Each year that video tape sits in a box in the basement, it ages, and its quality is degraded. Don't lose those precious memories forever! Let Two18 Media safeguard them for you and your posterity.
